A fascinating article on slot machines. I've probably played the slots a half dozen times; I never saw the appeal. Maybe I have already built up a tolerance for that kind of risk/reward feedback mechanism by growing up in the age of computer games. It seemed too mechanical; give me blackjack or poker any day. Actually, hold that; I'm not planning on going into a casino until I am far less attached to my money than I am today. I can lose money on the stock market without having to fly to Las Vegas.
